Šī ir galerija, kas sastāv no bariņa mīļu, aizrautīgu, aktīvu, ekpresīvu bērneļu sejām - tas tā kā būtu pats par sevi, BET... tā interse rodas sejas apdarinājuma izvēlē! Šeit iztiksim bez "apgleznojuma" kvalitātes un mākslinieciskās vērtības novērtēšanas, jo skaidrs, ka tas ir bērnu ballītes ietvaros noticis pasākums!

Interesanta ir tēlu izvēle, identificēšanās ar to un dažos gadījumos tēla attaisnošana..

Katram bērnam tika dota izvēle, kāda "supervaroņa" tēlā viņš/-a gribētu iejusties. Daži to uztvēra ļoti vienkārši, ar veselīgu devu entuziasma, bet bez īpašas vajadzības paskaidrot vai attaisnot savu lēmumu. Citiem šī procedūra izvērtās par sāpīgu par un pret izvērtēšanas pieredzi ar zināmu iespējamās "nepareizās" izvēles indikācijas devu.

Man šķita ļoti interesanta šī iekšējā un ārējā cīņa par visai triviālu tēmu (kas protams nav nekāds nosodījums pret bērniem vai šo izklaidi), kas jau agrīnā vecumā runā par reprezentatīvā tēla svarīgumu, šī tēla "chanellingu", sevis meklēšanu arhetipiskos tēlos un veselu plejādi parametru, kas jau ir izveidojušies un spēlē lomu izvēļu veikšanā...

This gallery, obviously, is filled with the lovely, yet slightly scary faces of young, sweet, active and epressive chilren, HOWEVER...the point of interest here is not the quality or artistic value of their decorated faces, but the choices they made for who they'd like to become for a short while.

What I found curious is the decision making process and amount or abscence of reasoning behind it. There were kids who took it lightly - with a healthy amount of enthusiasm, but not a lot of concern or debating as to the "superhero", which at times turned out to be no hero at all, that they wanted to become. Yet others brouhgt this decisision to a totally different, much more complicated and loaded level involving a serious debate of all the pros and cons of certain charracters and indicating the possibility of a "wrong" choice.

I found this inner and partially outer struggle involving a relatively trivial (no judgement!) decision that already, at an early age has begun to address the topic of self-representation - creating an image, chanelling the character, self-discovery in differentarchetypes and a whole range of parameters and specifications that have already formed in those kinds minds and are dictating the types of choices they make...
